Why this week
GHRI spotlights communities where healthcare is hardest to reach, explains the barriers behind the crisis, and mobilizes volunteers to amplify stories that deserve attention.
Global Health Action Week is our annual moment to do that at full volume: a week of stories, facts, and voices from the front lines of the healthcare access crisis — and an open invitation to be part of the answer.
The week ahead
Seven days, each with a purpose:
- Sunday — Campaign launch: Healthcare Beyond Borders
- Monday — Understanding healthcare inequality: the barriers to care
- Tuesday — Communities in Focus: five communities, five stories
- Wednesday — Global Advocacy Day
- Thursday — Solutions & Possibilities: what actually works
- Friday — Your Voice: our global healthcare access survey
- Saturday — Global Impact Finale
Our message
Healthcare does not stop at a border, and neither does our responsibility to each other. Distance, conflict, cost, and neglect decide who gets care today — but they don't have to.
No community should be left behind. Follow the week, share the stories, and lend your voice.
Access to health care for all.
